By appointment with the doctors and midwife at Mandeville.

Baby Clinics and Child Health

Baby checks with the GP and childhood immunisations with the practice nurse are by appointment.

The community health visitors provide breastfeeding support, baby massage groups and developmental checks as well as support for families of children under five years. The health visitor drop-in clinics are:-

Monday 10am - 12pm at Aylesbury College Campus Children's Centre (behind Aylesbury College)

Monday 1.30pm - 3.00pm at Elmhurst Children's Centre, Dunsham Lane

Wednesday 2.00pm - 3.30pm at the Health Living Centre, Ealton Court

Long Term Conditions

inhalerPatients with diabetes or heart disease should attend the Healthy Heart clinic at six monthly intervals unless they are under the care of the hospital. The practice also holds a Chest Clinic to monitor lung function for patients with respiratory problems.

Minor Surgery

The practice holds regular  minor surgery clinics for appropriate smaller operative procedures.  These are by referral only.

Joint Injections

Most of the doctors in the surgery carry out joint injections. 

If you are attending surgery for a joint injection, please print off, read and sign and read the joint injection consent form and bring this with you when you attend for your appointment. Thank you.

Stop Smoking Clinics

We have our own smoking cessation clinics at the practice. If you want to give up the habit, Judith, our smoking cessation nurse, will give you information, encouragement and support.Travel Services

The practice nurses will advise on travel risks and protection and administer travel immunisations where necessary. Some travel immunisations are not covered under the NHS and are charged for privately. Welfare Benefits Advice

The Citizens Advice Bureau provides an outreach service at our surgeries with regular sessions to give advice on benefits etc. Please ask at reception for details.

NHS Health Checks

Health MOT checks are offered to selected patients aged 40 - 74 years. You will receive a letter if you fall into this target group.

Alcohol & Drug Support

The surgery hold drug and alcohol support sessions with a specialist addiction worker.


It is important that you let us know if you are a carer so that we have a good understanding of your situation and can put you in touch with the services and support on offer.
