Antenatal & Postnatal Care

By appointment with the Midwife at Mandeville.

Baby Clinics and Child Health

Baby checks with the GP and childhood immunisations with the practice nurse are by appointment only every Wednesday 09.00- 14.30

The community health visitors provide breastfeeding support, baby massage groups and developmental checks as well as support for families of children under five years. The health visitor drop-in clinics are:-

  • Monday 10:00am – 11.45am at Aylesbury College Campus Children’s Centre (behind Aylesbury College)
  • Monday 1:30pm – 3:00pm at Elmhurst Children’s Centre, Dunsham Lane
  • Wednesday 1.30pm – 3pm at the Health Living Centre, Walton Court Shopping Centre

Long Term Conditions

Patients with diabetes or heart disease should attend the Healthy Heart clinic at six monthly intervals unless they are under the care of the hospital. The Practice also has facilities to monitor lung function for patients with respiratory problems via referral from the GP

NHS Health Checks

Health MOT checks are offered to selected patients aged 40 – 74 years. You will receive a letter if you fall into this target group.
